Always blending fashion and history, Frank Leder never disappoints. This season, Leder’s collection is based on the “arbeiterfieierabendvereine” or factory workers. Taking inspiration from workers at play, the collection borrows elements from outdoor recreational activities like river fly-fishing. Using linen from a small manufacturer on the Baltic Coast and unusual fabrics like Swiss Mountain canvas, Leder interjects his spring collection with old-age masculinity. Washed and hand dyed cottons baring an inner old workers’ motif, original fishing flies, and a convolute of original 1930’s oil tins make this collection unique. Selected pieces from the collection will be available for sale via Frank Leder’s webstore, which launches in April.
