Tying together a gradual progression of color and silhouettes, General Idea’s recent New York showing of the latest collection entitled Nostalgia delighted the senses with a variety of bold cuts and graphic prints. Kicking the show off with a crisp fashionable take on sportswear dressed in fiery red, designer Bumsuk Choi addressed the basics before trying his hand at the modern silhouette. Relaxed and extended, the touch of an artist came to mind with splashes of paint across trousers, while a fitting blast from the past came forth in a segment of workerswear perfected with drawstring belting.
