Currently appearing in advertising campaigns for Hermes, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino and Burberry, it’s difficult to believe that British model and musician George Barnett doesn’t regularly get recognized in public, but he prefers it that way. Connecting with Mr Porter for a new photo shoot, he jests, “I don’t want to turn into another David Gandy, do I?” In addition to modeling, Barnett has always been serious about his music and band These New Puritans. Barnett’s modeling and music have often collided, but he likes to keep them separate. Barnett explains, “Music is all-encompassing. It isn’t something that you can just dip a toe into; you need to immerse yourself fully. So I try to keep a clearly defined line.” Read more at MrPorter.com. / Photos by Boo George.
