Armani Domination–According to WWD, designer Giorgio Armani has purchased the 50% of Armani Exchange he did not already own. Armani has plans to retool the brand and expand its footprint, past its 270 stores and hopefully into the next fast fashion giant (think Topman and Zara). Expansion of Armani Exchange will be in part funded by the Giorgio Armani Group, which saw profits soar last year with an 18.2% increase.
