Following the departure of Riccardo Tisci as creative director, Givenchy looks to start a new chapter. The French fashion house entrusts designer Clare Waight Keller with the future its vision. Appointed Givenchy artistic director, the former Chloé designer shares, “Hubert de Givenchy’s confident style has always been an inspiration and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this legendary House’s history.”

The designer continues, “I look forward to working with the teams and writing a new chapter in this beautiful story.” Kicking off her Givenchy tenure on May 2, 2017, Keller’s responsibilities include the brand’s menswear, womenswear, and couture collections. Keller’s appointment is also noteworthy as she is the first woman at the helm of the label.
