Givenchy brought its Parisian haute cool flair to New York Fashion Week for the spring-summer 2016 show season. Hot on the heels of a menswear showing during Paris Fashion Week this past June, creative director Riccardo Tisci paraded out the collection once more, unveiling his womenswear lineup at the same time. Celebrating the opening of Givenchy’s new Manhattan boutique, Tisci rolled out the best, highlighting his strength in clean tailoring with a somber color palette. Taking a serious approach to the season, double-breasted jackets, long coats and suiting shorts were among the sophisticated essentials on the agenda.
