PopSockets is launching a new campaign to introduce its luxury Dimensionals line of statement phone grips. For the occasion, they enlist the help of rising music star glaive. “We knew we wanted someone who was willing to be vulnerable and explore different sides of themselves that they might not have before,” says PopSockets creative director Dave Ruiz. “From the first meeting with glaive, we saw he embodied the spirit of the campaign and his creative curiosity was palpable.”

For its Dimensionals campaign, PopSockets wanted something loud, fearless, and iconic. The company looked to style icons such as Dennis Rodman and Bowie for inspiration. Dave Ruiz recalls, “With every concept, we presented to [glaive], he embraced it, and we truly saw a different glaive come onto set with each look. It was incredible to see.”

In front and center, glaive channels the energy and attitude of each Dimensionals grip. “Doing things that are unique gets harder and harder as everything becomes homogeneous,” says glaive. “This collection is about being multidimensional as a human and finding the tools that help you realize the different facets of your identity.”

For the N.01 Heavy Metal, Jourdan Kadow styles glaive in looks inspired by British pop and rock stars. Meanwhile, for N.02 Tiger’s Eye, glaive’s white suiting pays a nod to the power suits of the 1980s before channeling his inner punk with spiky hair by Nevada and grooming by Wendy Martinez.
