The fundamentals of menswear are alive and well when it comes to the fall-winter 2017 collection of Hermès. Sharp tailored plaid sports coats, monochromatic velvet numbers, houndstooth coats, and ribbed cashmere turtleneck sweaters were among the luxurious highlights. Once again, Hermès creative director Véronique Nichanian pulls together a seamless wardrobe for the French fashion house’s sophisticated man of style. Here, classics such as the aviator jacket fall in line with a tartan bomber update as well as leather pants and shirting.
