Issey Miyake Fall/Winter 2014–While Emporio Armani, earlier this week, looked to nature for a dark collection, Issey Miyake creative director Yusuke Takahashi found his inspiration in minerals, taking the idea to a colorful level with an explosion of intensive prints. Providing a digital read with a blend of tailored and oversized silhouettes, a far journey to the edges of the earth manifested itself with adventurous color combinations. Throwing iridescent fabrics and pinstripes into the mix, the collection offered variety as ponchos, suits, parkas and more were made available for an inevitable trek.
