Jac+ Jack Winter 2014-Australian label Jac+ Jack reunites with model Nathaniel Visser for their winter 2014 lookbook, shot by photographer Stephen Ward. Embracing an easy color palette of white, grey and indigo for the season, Jac+ Jack focuses on contemporary menswear essentials with a luxurious focus. Available in stores now, the new collection was inspired in part by Christo and Jean Claude’s exhibition at Issey Miyake’s 21 21 Design Sight Gallery in Tokyo, which was the motivation behind the collection’s layering of soft neutrals. Meanwhile, Gerhard Richter’s statement about grey ushered in the cool hue: “Grey is the epitome of non-statement.” Finally, a trip to India provided the organic addition of indigo, a classic dye. Here, cashmere, merino wool, soft jersey, linen and more come together to dress knitwear, shirting, pants and other staples.
