Jacques Marie Mage highlights its spring-summer 2016 styles with an outing photographed by Dimitri Coste. The brand’s Circa collection includes sleek eyewear inspired by the American West and the Italian avant-garde. Muses for individual styles include charismatic thinkers with beautiful and progressive ideas.
Discussing the range, Jacques Marie Mage founder Jerome Mage shares, “It really started with Pasolini, a pivotal Italian cultural figure who, as a filmmaker, poet, and philosopher, embodied many contradictions. I feel the collection is also the result of opposites: modern and traditional, bold forms and subtle details.”
Custom manufactured, Jacques Marie Mage’s spectacles are manufactured in Nakatsugawa, Japan. Designed to last a lifetime, the label’s eyewear features Takiron cellulose acetate which is a “living plant-based material that breaths and absorbs moisture.”
