I Hope I Die Soon–William Richard Green meets the spring season with a certain morbid taste and dark humor, looking to suicide and the church’s punishment of those individuals as the inspiration for undeniably, a unique collection. Enlisting Jake Shortall and Louis du Sauzay for the season’s lookbook, negativity finds a lightness with cheeky banter. Somber in black and white, delightful silhouettes come together with loosely slung separates that make for a wardrobe of easy essentials. Whether suited in a jumpsuit and enjoying time in purgatory or clad in the dark illustrations of Martin Wollerstam, Green’s character champions his own voice with a charming spin on the fundamentals.
