Modern Streak–A graduate of the Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, James Hillman found inspiration in crude oil for his fall 2011 collection. The recent winner of the Levi’s Award for sustainable clothing focused on texture and sheen, Hillman tackles an all-black collection, utilizing lamb wool, reindeer leather and various cottons for a standout finish. Pieces range from high collar shirts to sharply tailored suits and make clear the designer’s take on modern male sophistication.
