James Long embraces a paint like graphic for his fall-winter 2016 men’s collection.

Designer James Long once again returned to the London catwalk as he unveiled his fall-winter 2016 men’s collection. Having art on the mind, Long turned to the local community for inspiration. Mixing colorful patterns and prints for the season, Long’s muse was none other than artist George Longly.

Fusing an artist’s sensibility with a keen eye for sporty separates, the new collection can be summed up as an exciting wardrobe that lends the season an extra punch. Oversized parkas, short jackets, accented with shearling and bomber jackets were paired with striped knitwear, straight-cut patterned pants and trendy joggers. Walking on the more quiet side, shearling jackets and coats contributed to an accessible, luxurious appeal.
