James McAvoy on Working with M. Night Shyamalan on Split
James McAvoy talks to L’Uomo Vogue about the decision to do the movie, Split. McAvoy recalls, “When M. Night Shyamalan called to offer me Split I was very excited. I’ve always been a fan of his.” However, the 37-year-old actor reveals that it was only after much consideration. McAvoy says, “But I decided to do the film only after reading the script and evaluating the character very carefully. It had happened in the past that I accepted a movie just to have the opportunity to work with a great director, and it didn’t work out at all.”
