Outfitted by fashion editor Andrea Tenerani, actor James McAvoy warms up to fall looks from Italian fashion house Gucci. Talking about his current advertising campaign for Prada, McAvoy discusses his initial hesitation. "Well, they were very kind to offer me the opportunity to work with them, but for me it's a whole new experience. And to be honest, before today I had never even wanted to do it. I mean, I wear clothes Prada and Burberry and I also like a well-cut suit. But I never liked much to sell something to people. Not because there's anything inherently wrong with that, but - as an actor - I always thought it would impair the ability of the public to accept me in the role of a particular character. Let's say you are watching a movie - I do not know, maybe a man with a brain tumor who suddenly develops supernatural powers. At that point, they may think, 'Hey, wait a minute! That's the guy who was trying to sell Prada.' So I always stayed away from these kinds of situations, but my wife Anne-Marie gave me some suggestions. 'Oh, do not be so stupid!" She said. "If it makes you feel better, give the money to charity.' So we thought it might be an opportunity to support a charity."Pin

Talking to the magazine about the desire to act in movies, Irvine recalls escaping other professions. “I could have escaped all kinds. Especially in advertising. I was ready for anything .
