Talking to the magazine about past movie roles and his future, McAvoy references the fact that he transitioning from safe characters to their more complicated counterparts. McAvoy explains, “For a long time, I was playing the normal guy in an exceptional world, or the normal guy who was in a relationship with someone much more weird and interesting.
