rapping up coverage of Japan Fashion Week are labels Lessthan, Garçonshinois, and Junya Tashiro. It is no surprise that Lessthan’s Ohal Ando is a go-to designer for musicians. Lessthan’s fall collection takes an exciting turn when Ando brilliantly fuses regal purple with a juxtaposition of prep and urbanwear. Lessthan stands out in great contrast to the sleek minimalist collection by Garçonshinois. While Lessthan exemplifies eagerness and youth, Garçonshinois represents a somber seriousness with monochromatic formal pieces. Bridging the gap, Junya Tashiro presents a preview of his fall collection. The collection possesses a youthful appeal, while still maintaining a mature nature with stern pieces like the militaristic cape.
