Raw to Raw–Honing in on a dark color palette for their spring/summer 2014 collection, Jehee Sheen looks to raw materials for a take on the juxtaposition of “essential” and “artificial” beauty. Mixing sportswear such as the prevalent reworked sweatshirt with core tailored staples such as the jacket, the essentials are executed. Creating a graphic dimension with black on black work with different fabrications and contrasted white, Jehee Sheen maintains a simple straight-forward outing while also touching upon contemporary design motifs.
