Star of the anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, John Boyega is featured in a cover story for The Hollywood Reporter. The British actor links up with photographer Miller Mobley for a photo shoot that features the up and coming star in casual and formal styles.
Discussing the buzz around the new Star Wars movie and getting advice from legends such as Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford, Boyega shares, “This is the first Star Wars movie in the age of social media, and it’s a different path.” He continues, “The stories they’ve shared…I’ve been able to pick out a few things that are beneficial, but in terms of direct advice none of them have given any.”
Asked about how he keeps a level head, Boyega responds, “I think the major thing is I’ve had a life before. Two years ago I wouldn’t have sworn this was a conversation I would be having. So it hasn’t taken over my life just yet. As actors we have to try to maintain some sort of balance. I think in the coming months that will change and I’ll know exactly what the dynamics are. But for now, there hasn’t been anything that has completely changed the way my whole life works.” Read more on HollywoodReporter.com.
