Pitti Uomo’s guest designer for fall-winter 2016, JUUN.J brought its oversized collection to Florence with a loosely tailored rift on futuristic style. Kicking off the show and garnering great interest, models took to the enormous catwalk in black and white shearling coats that made quite the dramatic impression.
Embracing a post-apocalyptic theme, black was the running theme of the show as leather pants and sculpted leather jackets brought to mind the iconic costume of Mel Gibson in Mad Max. Draping voluminous parkas, single-breasted jackets and bomber jackets, JUUN.J also approached suiting with the same generous proportions. Rounding out the occasion, wide-cut trousers were paired with floor-length coats and paired with fashion-forward footwear of a combative nature.
