Kenzo’s Jungle–Kenzo designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim take the label to the jungle for the spring/summer 2013 season, championing leopard dressed silk and youthful label branding. Kicking off their lineup with safari-themed hues, layered sportswear with a camouflage micro-print trim gave way to a parade of boys pushed forward in baggy shorts and boxy jackets. On the heels of unruly wide trousers that knew no distinct shape, suits were given sharp details to tie into the season’s jungle motif. With colored insets and detailed pocket flaps, the Kenzo man of yesterday was afforded a moment in a sea of clothes that felt young, immediate and of the now.
