H&M has officially announced its new designer collaboration. The Swedish brand connects with French fashion house Kenzo for a fall capsule collection. Embracing Kenzo’s vibrant attitude, courtesy of creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the anticipated lineup will launch in select H&M stores and online at HM.com on November 3, 2016. Talking about the collaboration and what he hopes to achieve, Leon shares, “We wanted to really tell the story of the brand and of us. Together with H&M, we will invite all the costumers and fans to the real Kenzo world.”
Recalling their days as students at the University of California, Berkeley, Lim adds, “Our philosophy is this. We’re curious.” She explains, “Even at the time, we were always trying to get to the bottom of what we loved—whether it was our favorite band or some dish we liked. We care a lot and still care a lot about what is authentic.”
