Kylian Mbappé for Hublot Campaign

Hublot’s current ad features Kylian Mbappé, photographed by Ezra Petronio. He sought to create a view of the footballer that reflected his excellence and openness in a timeless but contemporary fashion.

According to Petronio, “What I love more than anything when creating a portrait is to capture that spark that is unique to each one of us – whatever that may be.” Petronio elaborates, “And to evoke emotion in the viewer so that nothing can distract the gaze from the essence of the subject.”

Mbappé talks about his experience working with Petronio on his Hublot campaign. “It was an honor to pose for Ezra as he worked to capture the person I really am,” Mbappé said of the experience. “I love simplicity, and the beauty of lasting things that have soul.”

Their shared ethos reflects the Hublot philosophy, and we were delighted to bring them together for this campaign.”
