Lacoste goes retro for its fall-winter 2016 collection with a print that mimics wood paneling.

Lacoste looks back to its heritage, in particular its 1960s French ski team uniforms for the starting inspiration of its fall-winter 2016 men’s collection. Looking to create a retro outing fused with nostalgia, but modern at the same time, Lacoste streamlines contemporary proportions.

In tune with the trends of the season, trousers are relaxed and slouchy. Voluminous coats are matched by oversized tops. Referencing its own advertising messages from the 1970s, sweaters are dressed with the words, “100% Croco”, “Crocodile” and “Crocodelle”. Adding more fun to its playful wardrobe, 1980s inspired embroideries feature pixelated skiers and pine trees.
