Lacoste creative director Felipe Oliveira Baptista was in a celebratory mood as he approached his spring-summer 2016 menswear collection. Unveiled during New York Fashion Week, the lineup took its inspiration from the upcoming 2016 Olympics, which will be hosted by Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. Dressing the French team to compete in the games, Baptista used the Manhattan stage to test his best athletic-themed fashions. Incorporating a global attitude, the flags of various nations were interweaved throughout a sporty lineup of polo shirts, suiting, parka jackets, windbreakers and other separates.
