Celebrating ten years at Lanvin, men’s style director, Lucas Ossendrijver presented his spring-summer 2017 collection for the French fashion house. The designer presented a Parisian take on sporty style, imagining a summer festival as the desired venue. Donning trainers and relaxed suits, models took to the catwalk.
Tastefully disheveled, Ossendrijver promoted a worn-in look. Here, layers evolved with collarless shirts, vertical striped button-downs, and elongated knits. Haphazardly tucked into belted trousers, the Lanvin man embraced a love for poetry. The waistbands of pleated trousers featured romantic lines. Tattered skinny scarves also stood out, paired with oversized tailored coats and unbuttoned shirts. Ultimately, the Lanvin man delivered a cool finesse, orchestrating an easy attitude that extended from suits to essential tees.
