The Greatest Ease–From the casting to the fit of the clothes to the selection of garments offered, Lanvin played it cool this season. The French fashion house had all the necessary components. There was suiting and there was sportswear. There was classic and there was modern. It was easily a great collection. The silhouettes worked in a natural progression. Just as there were wide trousers that rested high on the waist, a more formal alternative met the natural waistline and ended in a taper. Meanwhile, a simple clean white shirt and black skinny tie looked divine in the midst of lush shapes that emphasized structured leather wear against oversized outerwear, perfect for belting. Meanwhile, basics like the t-shirt, furnished loosely in silk or cut from leather prompted a luxurious urban safari with shorts and outerwear connecting to a larger finesse that painted the Lanvin man in a light that was both young and chic.
