Preparation for the spring 2011 season begins as our friends down under release their upcoming collections. Kicking off spring with Limedrop, their man receives a casual makeover as he packs his bags for travel. Preppy with a quirky twist in proportions, Far From Home sets in motion an array of shirting, shorts and pants that dazzle with colorful energy and an eclectic mix of the fitted and oversized. Photographed by Jo Duck, a highlight of the new range is Nathan Price and Clea Garrick’s work with illustrator Andrzej Nowicki on spring’s t-shirt collection that includes silk prints and summer-lake prints.
Overall I like but some pieces not so much, loved the preppy influence.
