Freshly announced for pre-spring 2022, the Louis Vuitton x NIGO collection embodies luxury to the highest degree. Casual basics like t-shirts and jeans are hallmarks of this collection. With collaborations at their core, these basics combine with different fabrics to create quality garments that won’t leave you back on square one when it comes to fashion.

The two designers, who met via a mutual love of streetwear and a similar subcultural practice, study their various cultural beginnings beneath the worldwide Louis Vuitton logo. The sophomore collection builds on this dialogue by celebrating NIGO’s Japanese heritage, the woven tapestry of his fashion background, and the geo-specific perspective on the Western men’s wardrobe that he has had since he was a little child.

By drawing inspiration from the personal collections of NIGO, the LV2 lineup combines the tailoring silhouettes of the 1950s and 60s in Western culture with a Japanese aesthetic. Traditional costumes, military uniforms, and traditional clothing are viewed through a highly formalized perspective, giving them an elevated level of luxury.
