Luxury Seafaring–Inspired by sailing, Louis Vuitton menswear designer Kim Jones promised a nautical season. Translating naval references into the collection’s first suits, navy transitioned into classic khakis with a baggy finish. Meanwhile, a technical play with fabric resulted in sportswear-inspired outerwear, taking in windbreakers, long overcoats and other notable pieces. Accessorized with bucket hats, active bags and slip-ons, the spring/summer 2013 season was clearly identified as a source of understated luxury, but not withstanding that moment, entailing a special occasion with suiting, constructed in woven silk for an ultra-luxe finish.
