CR Fashion dips its toes into the menswear arena with CR Men’s Book. Lucky Blue Smith stars in a fall fashion story for the magazine, connecting with photographer Sebastian Faena. The shoot is accompanied by an interview in which Lucky discusses the buzz around him. Asked if he realizes how unusual it is for a male model to get so much attention, he responds, “People are saying this has never happened before and I’m starting this new thing. That’s kind of crazy. But I guess I’m starting to realize how different it is. Last fashion week when The Wall Street Journal was interviewing me after the Etro show it clicked. I was like, not a lot of models get interviewed by The Wall Street Journal. What am I doing differently?”
Discussing his fan base and how he often has public meet-ups with them, Lucky explains, “I noticed a lot of public figures not treating their fans really well, even though that’s who got them to be where they are now. I want to be really nice and respectful and talk to my fans and hang out with them. I’ve gone to get lunch with my fans. I’ve hung out in front of my hotel countless times with my fans because, really, they just want to see you and if I can make them happy then I’m happy. They’re really nice anyways. They’re really nice girls and some boys and just really cool.” Read more at CRFashionBook.com.
