Lucky Blue Smith on Dealing with Fame
Discussing his internet fame with the London Evening Standard’s magazine, Lucky explains, “I still don’t feel famous. Like, I feel I’m well known, but I don’t feel famous-famous. But I do have a totally different idea [of fame] from what I had before. Before, it was like you think of all the things you’ve seen from other celebrities. You think about all the cool stuff and how it would be, like, fun.”
The 18-year-old model continues, “But actually, it happens and…It’s not that things are bad, it’s just, like, things you have to get used to. People waiting outside your hotel, when you come home from a fitting when you’re so tired, and you did five shows that day. That was kind of hard to get used to. Not hard, but interesting, I guess.”
