Maison Kitsuné looks to the quirky eye of photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari to shoot its fall-winter 2016 men’s lookbook. The outing pays tribute to the label’s Japanese heritage. Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film The Wind Rises serves as the inspiration for the collection with aviation styles taking center stage. Entitled Love Rises, the lineup champions Japanese silhouettes with comfortable organic fabrics that include cotton, broadcloth, velvet and flannel. Among jackets, t-shirts and coats, the embracing of camouflage is joined by pop prints modeled after Mount Fuji and the Rising Sun.
