It’s official: Mark Ronson has joined the Audemars Piguet family as its newest brand ambassador. With Ronson, Audemars Piguet continues to express itself at the intersection between tradition and avant-garde via his uncompromising and free-spirited approach to making music. In addition, Audemars Piguet’s APxMusic initiative, which promotes a broad exchange of ideas among musicians, will benefit from the partnership with Ronson.

As part of Audemars Piguet’s objective to push human talent even further and produce the remarkable to touch people’s hearts, the watchmaker is hoping that Mark Ronson can contribute. Since 1875, Audemars Piguet has helped the artisan community in the Vallée de Joux, who share the same values to bring this idea to realization. Ronson says he was blown away by the attention to detail, the mix of analog instruments, and the soulful maestros who built these watches when visiting AP’s factory. When it comes to passion and artistry, “It is so similar to what we are doing in the studio with our heritage, in the sense of dedication and craft,” says Ronson.
