Marni continued a season of firsts as new creative director Francesco Risso made his runway debut. The designer presented a fall-winter 2017 collection, which turned up the dial on Marni’s whimsical DNA. Imagining a period of style exploration for young men, Risso unveiled eclectic styles with relaxed proportions. Tartan and stripes contributed to the lineup with quilted pants, paper bag waist trousers, single-breasted coats, and crewneck sweaters. Marni’s fall outing concluded with a series of statement shaggy outerwear.
