Approaching his fall-winter 2016 men’s collection, designer Umit Benan was inspired by trips to Tokyo, Japan. The results included a tribute to martial arts students. Casual fashions took center stage with draped shirts, trousers with elasticated waists, relaxed tailoring and belted trousers. Taking to the catwalk with bandaged feet, models continued the athletic gesture with an eclectic mix of separates that reinforced Benan’s signature nonchalance and free spirit.
