Milan-based fashion brand The Great Sartorial Uprising makes its debut for fall-winter 2016 with a collection of men’s waistcoats. Championing the narrative of the waistcoat, the label looks at its sole focus as a form of storytelling. The waistcoat is approached with high quality fabrics and three inspirations: Traditional English Tailoring, Workwear and Italian Tailoring.

Fulfilling the void between traditional and contemporary, The Great Sartorial Uprising’s waistcoats include styles that range from classic and tailored to a tweed executed option, fitted with pockets for a workwear-inspired ensemble. Showcasing its fall styles, the Italian brand enlists photographer Simone Rivi and stylist Riccardo Linarello, who capture the season’s lookbook with model Felix Törnquist.
