Michael Fassbender delivers a striking profile as he covers Icon El País. Talking to Icon El País about creating a movie based off a video game, Fassbender shares in a translated quote, “One of the most difficult things in making a movie from the universe of this video game is the amount of information there is.”

Fassbender continues, “It’s a very dense material. You had to distill, simplify your best and work with a few elements that anchor the audience in the film.” The Scottish actor explains, “In a project like this, there is a healthy dance between respect and disrespect.
