Perry Ellis Spring Preview-Following a look behind the scenes last week, Perry Ellis treats us to another glimpse at its spring/summer 2015 collection, which it will present during New York Fashion Week on Thursday, September 4th. Model Mikus Lasmanis reconnects with Perry Ellis in photos by Eli Schmidt. Mikus models looks from newly appointed creative director Michael Maccari’s debut collection that marks Perry Ellis’ return to the runway after a three-year hiatus.

The new collection entitled ‘Changes and Horizontals’ was inspired by the work of Irish artist Sean Scully. Known for his linear drawings and paintings, Scully’s work served as a graphic reference point as Maccari looked to designer Perry Ellis and his signature approach to season-less dressing and the use of unexpected patterns and paintings. Maccari updates menswear classics in this vein, especially with his use of innovative fabrics. See more in the collection walk-thru by Maccari in the video below.
