Model Mikus Lasmanis reconnects with Perry Ellis in photos by Eli Schmidt. Mikus models looks from newly appointed creative director Michael Maccari’s debut collection that marks Perry Ellis’ return to the runway after a three-year hiatus.
The new collection entitled ‘Changes and Horizontals’ was inspired by the work of Irish artist Sean Scully. Known for his linear drawings and paintings, Scully’s work served as a graphic reference point as Maccari looked to designer Perry Ellis and his signature approach to season-less dressing and the use of unexpected patterns and paintings.
