The black suit encompasses John Varvatos’ comfort zone this season as he marries goth and rock ‘n’ roll for a straight-forward collection. Aiming to soften a harsh black look, browns and purples intertwine as crushed fabrics find peace amongst sheer knits and fragile accessories. Altogether, Varvatos crafts a strong thin silhouette with modern appeal.

  1. Even though he was in the Fujiwara show too, I love Cole's new haircut. Looks straight G-status.

On topic: This collection reminds me why I like Varvatos (though normally U.S.A. more). Fantastic footwear and great chunky knits. The suiting really does come off thinner this season which is a definite plus for my small frame. Solid but also pretty safe but no where I am not complaining.
