Crash Collision–Day three prompted several of Milan Fashion Week’s strongest collections. Inspired by a worldy outlook, the men of day three took us on a journey, whether it was globe trotting or venturing throughout time. Closing a dear chapter, D&G treated us to a tale of printed silk, while Versace appealed to the visual senses with a collection bursting of color and ancient spirit. Meanwhile, Etro furnished their latest collection with the timeless appeal of the east, not to be left alone with Canali joining the adventure. Traveling back to the 70’s, Alexander McQueen teetered the line between formal and casual. Remaining true to classics, Gucci embraced their heritage as Z Zegna turned to silk for an extravagant finish. On the rock ‘n’ roll end, reggae and other influences paved the road for John Richmond, while Iceberg did a clean sweep with Italian sportswear at its best. Closing with the perfect seasonal garments, Dirk Bikkembergs took a dive off the deep end for a fun lineup.
