Approaching its fall-winter 2017 men’s collection, Missoni looks East for inspiration. The Italian fashion house sets its sights on Japan with the setting inspiring a season’s tapestry of prints. Semi-relaxed silhouettes serve as the canvas for Missoni’s latest outing. Here, knitwear, short jackets, duffle coats, and smart trousers capture the essence of the brand’s classic stance on menswear.

Bringing character to the season, Missoni explores Dynamism. Order materializes from disorder as intersecting lines, geometric shapes, and a tonal use of colors come together. Borrowing from Japanese Shibori designs, metallic embroideries decorate fashions while abstract tartan and houndstooth pay homage to the blurred details of Kasuri textiles. Missoni also collaborates with Larose for fall, turning out a range of bucket hats, berets, and caps.
