Recalling her childhood, designer Angela Missoni looked to a family trip to Guatemala for the inspiration of Missoni’s spring-summer 2017 men’s collection. Embracing a color palette representative of South America, the Italian fashion house honed in on a rural charm. Lightweight knits stole the show with sunkissed cardigans and printed sweater vests.

Models took to the catwalk in straw shoes and patterned shorts, finished with summer scarves, tied at the waist. Juxtaposed with long relaxed shorts, long-sleeve stripe tees and graphic button-downs, Missoni also introduced its take on the South American cowboy. The season was closed out with straight-cut trousers and a fresh spin on the western shirt.
