Angela Missoni opted for a more personal campaign this season. Trading out models for her own family, Missoni turned to the talents of Juergen Teller to capture a certain intimacy that places her designs in a real world setting. As Missoni shared with WWD, “I wanted to highlight our reality and our lifestyle, which is reflected in our unique product and in the artisanal aspect. This campaign really reflects the mood I’m in these days, even from a design stance.” The campaign features Angela Missoni, her parents, her children Margherita, Teresa and Francesco, as well as her brother Vittorio Missoni’s siblings, Ottavio Junior, Marco and Giacomo.

Cool idea as for as the shoot goes, But as far as the clothes go….um? they look awful. The patterns looks so dated, like 1973 dated. That's a bad date for clothes

Jurgen Teller is great but he isn't consistent with Missoni … not in this way at least. Sometimes I think this company decides to work with famous artists to cover an absence of concept and idea. No one of us forget the Jurgen Teller talent, but what is the idea? I think this is the worst Missoni campaign. With previous campaign they approached a younger target… with this campaign they confused once again who is their target and who themselves are. This campaign looks like a trial to put themselves in evidence, more than the brand and products… maybe they forgot Rosita and Ottavia are artists and try to promote themeselves as VIP …
