Mitchell Slaggert is the talk of the town as he makes the transition to acting with Moss. The American model reunites with casting director Daniel Peddle for the indie film. Peddle not only discovered Mitchell as a model, but saw him as muse when writing the film’s story. Slaggert plays Moss’ title character. A coming-of-age tale, the Peddle-directed story takes us to rural North Carolina where we meet Moss on his eighteenth birthday.
On his way to supply his grandmother with medicine, we are introduced to Moss’ friend Blaze, played by fellow model Dorian Cobb and a new acquaintance Mary (Christine Marzano). On a journey of self-discovery, Moss finds himself. After an east coast premiere at the Soho International Film Festival, you can now catch showings of Moss in New York and Los Angeles.
