Childhood Nostalgia–Korean fashion designer Munsoo Kwon unveils the fall/winter 2013 collection of his eponymous label, characterized by tailored silhouettes, that are at the same time practical and versatile, without forgetting his signature aesthetic, which prefers polished silhouettes with a great attention to details and proportions, for an impeccable fit. For winter 2013, the Korean fashion designer has been inspired by “Kidult”, a cultural phenomenon that entails the participation of adults in activities usually connected with childhood. A palette of easy to wear colors, like black, grey, navy blue and charcoal defines a selection of contemporary looks that play with different patterns, mixing them with a playful twist. Vivid red hues, pale blues and strong indigo tones interrupt the more traditional colors in menswear, adding a younger twist to the garments, creating looks that cross the line between timeless tailoring and modern irreverence. / Modeled by Paul Craddock.
