Undeniably one of menswear’s most rebellious designers, Thom Browne looks to old New York as his inspiration for fall’s collection. Letting out his shrunken silhouette, the outlandish designer took to exaggerated proportions to convey an overindulgent sense of luxury. With fur spilling out of the unlikeliest places, Browne turned to outerwear as a clear component of the collection’s worth, while elongated knits and tops made a wild splash against Browne’s impeccably tailored suiting. Whether his proportions are large or small, fall’s outing reaffirms Browne’s unwillingness to compromise his vision to the whims of the times.

  1. Without death there is no life.
Leather is just as dead as fur, possibly less cute.
I enjoy the statement Mr. Browne makes from the waist down.

  3. a quirky and sinister. i love this collection. his tone of gray is spot on and the attention to detail [red, white & blue bows on the shoes] brand his items without putting logos all over the place. LUV, LUV, LUV!

  5. Ties as headscarves, the dufflecoats with snowflakes, crazy proportions – Oh My God, I love this

Now finally there is a collection where you can stare at each look for couple of minutes, not scroll down through all of them

  11. Leather is extracted from cattle, the animals are completely utilized, you actually eat their meat and before that, you drink their milk. Now, I guess you don't really eat chinchillas or drink their milk, so these animals are hunted and killed just for the fur. And one chinchilla does not complete a jacket, so lots of these animals are killed just for the fur.
This collection is just tasteless. Even if the fur isn't real, which I doubt, the use of it seems out of proportion and sickening.
