5 Reasons I Love Nicholas K

1.

Belted outerwear.  I doubt that worn looking belt will be for sale and it hurts my soul.  Time to wreck havoc on a belt.

2.

An abundance of masculine, but still stylish fits.

3.

Outerwear with a point of view.  Love the leather jacket and oversized buttons seen on many of the coats.  The peacoat is a keeper too.

4.

The possibility of layering.  The rolled up sleeves over outerwear is aesthetically pleasing.

5.

All my favorite things, which would be the color black.

  1. What’s striking to me, at first look, is the fit. There’s no bulkyness to it, or excess material, it’s all very well fit and functional. I’m curious to see how the every day man will translate these belted looks into their lives.

  3. Now that you mention it, the fit is dead on. I bet everything is pinned back. I’d cringe if the fit was exactly on point. I need a little wiggle room in my clothes for activity. Haha.

I doubt the every day man will accept the belted look. They are definitely not adventurous.

  4. Maybe they gave the model a Small, when he really fits a Medium haha. Can you imagine reaching up to hail a cab, only to hear a sudden rip of seams?

I was criticized when I belted a light weight coat, but hey…I loved it. And I’ll do it again once I get myself to cooler weather!
